REMINDER:
Wear GREEN tomorrow!

Mrs. House's class had a special visitor last week. As part of our school wide expectations of Kind, Safe and Responsible, Mrs. House's class showed this in the cafeteria last week. Mrs. Rohde read a book to the class while Lucy enjoyed some snuggles.

Maryvale Primary Families - This morning our notification system that informs families that a child is absent, was not working they way it normally does. Some families were mistakenly informed that their child was absent from school today when the student is in fact here at school. We are currently working to resolve the issues with our notification system. Should you have any questions, please call our main office at 716-631-7475.

MARYVALE PRIMARY SCHOOL
MORNING STUDENT DROP OFF
PROCEDURES
If you drop your student off in the morning, please be aware of the following procedures that are in place to help ensure the safety of our students.
Thank you for your anticipated cooperation.
● Parents/guardians are encouraged to use the pull up and drop off service that is available. Vehicles should pull up to where our staff are located and allow our staff to open the door for your child to exit the vehicle. Parents/guardians need to stay in the vehicle and not get out to let their child out of the car.
● Parents/guardians who do not want to use the drop off service, should park their cars and walk their child to Door #2. The crosswalk needs to be used when crossing from the parking lot to the school sidewalk. It is extremely unsafe to walk between the cars who are lined up to drop off students.
● Vehicles with handicap permits are the only vehicles that are allowed to park in designated handicap spaces in our parking lot. This will be enforced by our Student Resource Officer from the Cheektowaga Police Department.
● Doors #2 and #3 are closed at 9:00. Students who arrive after 9:00 will need to enter Door #1 in the front of the building and will need to be escorted by an adult.

Save the Date!
Forms will be coming home soon!
