Meet Mrs. Hada!

October 24, 2023

Dear Maryvale Primary Families,

It is with great pleasure and excitement that I introduce myself as the new Principal of Maryvale Primary School.  It is quite an honor to be able to be part of a community that is filled with an enthusiasm for learning and where students always come first. Our faculty and staff strive for excellence in helping our students achieve success so that we can prepare them to live in the 21st Century as responsible and productive individuals.  Our school and District strive to provide opportunities for our students to grow as responsible, productive and involved citizens who possess self-motivation, a love of learning and respect for self and others.  Building relationships is at the heart of what we do.  I know this first hand as I have been a part of the District since 2018.

When I first started at Maryvale in 2018, I was the Director of the 21st Century Community Learning Center Program for students in grades Kindergarten through grade 5.  I was in that role for a year and a half until 2020, when I transitioned to Maryvale High School as the Assistant Principal.  I was in that role for almost 4 years before moving to the Primary School.  I proudly reside in the Cheektowaga-Maryvale School District with my husband and daughter, who also attends Maryvale Primary School. I am a life-long resident of the local community.

Throughout my time in the district I have established and maintained positive relationships with students, staff and parents.  As we always say at Maryvale, "It starts with the community!" As we move through the school year, I would like to offer my partnership and support to students and families. Please do not hesitate to contact me as questions and concerns arise. Together, we can help our youngest Flyers get their wings!

Yours in Education,

Mrs. Kristen M. Hada
