School Exclusions

The School Nurse may exclude students from school if the following medical conditions occur: 

  1. Undiagnosed skin eruptions of the face, head, or body (rash)

  2. Any student who has an inflammatory condition of the eyes.

  3. Any student with a temperature of 100 degrees or greater

  4. A student who has vomited while in school.

  5. Any student having suspicious oral irritations.

Students returning after an acute illness, and/or communicable disease, and are absent for more than 3 consecutive days are required to see the school nurse and provide a medical note from their health care provider that they can return to school
