I have been a Family and Consumer Sciences teacher at Maryvale Middle School for the past 5 years.  Before coming to Maryvale Middle School, I was a Work-Based Learning Coordinator at a Buffalo Charter School and Business teacher. Before entering education, I  was a Marketing Director for a local shopping center as well.  I chose to teach Familly and Consumer Sciences at the middle school level to help students understand important life skills topics such as career exploration, financial literacy, helping students learn employability skills, learning baking and culinary skills, kitchen and food safety, sewing skills, child care and the importance of good citizenship. My passion is to help educate middle school students on the essential college and career readiness skills needed to be successful in high school and in their future!
